Kiyita, M.Kyambadde – Mr Kiyita is a Public Financial Management, accounting, auditing and project management expert with over 32 years of experience in these fields. Skilled at the preparation, monitoring, and management of Programmes and Projects, he has previously held positions as an Senior auditor and Principal accountant in central government of Uganda. Imprest Accounting Officer for a 5 year project for the National Authorising Office in Uganda, where is was responsible for the preparation of Programme Estimates, call for grant proposals and served as the Head of the Finance Administration section of the PMU. And for over 4 years (2007-2010) as Financial Management Specilaist under the AfDB funded project in Uganda. From March 2011, Kiyita worked for various International Programmes and projects management firms as a Finance,Contracts,Grant management,Monitoring and Evaluation consultant. From August 2013 todate serving as team member/Finance and Contracts Expert for Humam Dymamics Austria- Technical Assistance team for EU-funded projects where he is responsible for ensuring adherence to EDF and Country specific financial, contract and procurement processes. In this capacity, he develops implement procedural guidelines and is responsible for resource mobilisation and financial and contractual management. Firm Description
ALLIED was established as a partnership to carry out business of consultancy in the area of financial audit and accountancy services. It was initially registered as a partnership with the registrar of business names on 23rd may, 1993. The firm is licensed and regulated by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) as ‘ALLIED’ Vide Number AF0034. The firm’s client base has expanded from 10 in 1994 to over 300 regular clients and about 500 walk-in clients per year. Over time, the firm has served a cumulative figure of over 1000 firms that range from private businesses to Non-governmental organisations, parastatals, public sector, donor-funded projects to financial and academic institutions. In order to meet the challenges of growth, the company has constantly expanded its institutional capacity in areas of human resources and infrastructural development. We are now located in spacious premises that are strategically located in the centre of consultancy off the city for easy access to our esteemed clients who cut across the board. In addition, the firm’s work force has expanded to comprise a team of 26 full-time staff and over 10 associates who are specialists in various fields ranging from accountancy to audit to tax advice and financial, investment analysis and systems development, among others.
