Gilbert Bongam is the senior managing partner of the firm and originated from the english speaking part of Cameroon North West region. He has been into practice for the past 18 years and is a holder of a master in business law . He studied mediation and conflict management in Harvard Law school in the united states and also international arbitration with Ford Harm law school in New York. He has been the president of the Anglophone lawyers in Douala for four years and is presently the secretory general of the Cameroon Business lawyers Association.

BONGAM AND YOUMBI LAW FIRM was Established in 2012 and officially in 2015 following the Bar council decision number 053/ASCP/COABC/04/15 of August 25th 2015. The law Firm is made up of two senior lawyers and 6 young advocates, three males and one female, two collaborators, two secretaries, one bailiff, one clerk and one accountant. The law firm specializes in business law and other related domains. Our law firm is bilingual with mastery and command of the English derived Common Law and the French inspired Civil Law. The Firm is a member of ENSAFRICA Advocates which is found in more than Eight African Countries
