Dato’ Dr. Ronnie Silva is Managing Partner and a founder member of McMillan Woods UK. Dato’ Dr. Ronnie Silva brings a very wide experience of Corporate Operations across the world and is titled as Dato’ (“SIR” Title) in his birth country of Malaysia, all of which will benefit McMillan Woods and clients greatly. Dato’ Dr. Ronnie Silva’s experience includes International Audits and Tax work, company mergers, fundraising, assisting clients with public listings, international business planning and Restructuring, Due Diligence work for takeovers, compliance work for the FCA, Gabriel filings compliance and restructuring Trust services. He has also held Directorships for several companies in the UK. Dr. Silva’s career developed with KPMG for almost 20 years working in South Korea, Singapore, Canada, India, Pakistan, Malaysia, and England. Dato’ Dr. Ronnie Silva then moved to private accounting practice, including Managing Partner of Ashfields – Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) practice, Senior Partner in charge of Corporate Finance at Shaw Walker & Co (ACCA) and Partner at Leigh Carr – Chartered Accountants. Dato’ Dr Ronnie Silva holds professional qualifications as Associate Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales, Fellow of Association of International Accountants and Registered Auditors of UK, Associate member of Cost and Executive Accountants of Canada, Associate member of International Financial Accountants of UK, Member of Financial Services Authority of UK, approved Money Laundering Officer by HMRC of UK and Immigration Advisory License from OISC (Office of Immigration Services Commissioner). Dato’ Dr. Ronnie Silva also holds a Ph.D. in Accounting and an MBA in Business Administration.
