Lawyer for Price Waterhouse until 1996. Suren Avakov is a partner- in- charge of a boutique Moscow law firm Avakov Tarasov and partners, providing for legal, tax and accounting support for foreign and domestic, corporate and individual clients, medium and multinational companies, from all over the world, established more than 20 years ago. He is active in the following areas of business law: litigation and arbitration, commercial (IP, lease, distribution), corporate/M&A/private equity and restructuring, real estate and land, labor. There is also strong tax and accounting practice under Russian tax and accounting standards.
